HAVE WE BEEN ANYMORE DIVIDED AS A NATION SINCE THE LAST Civil War?
It has been a few days since El Paso and Dayton and I wasn't going to write this post but with the left and the right pushing for Red Flag Laws, I felt I didn't have a choice.
While our hearts go out to the victims in El Paso and Dayton, as well as, their families, a greater tragedy may have been exemplified; the growing split between those that support the US Constitution and the Second Amendment and those that want to amend/end it.
We know the mainstream media (MSM) feels the inherent need to sensationalize this event by using terms like racist, white nationalist, and any other vile names they can think of in an effort to get you to pressure our elected officials to "stop the gun violence" at any cost.
You may wonder; does the MSM even care that if all guns were outlawed and confiscated, guns would still flow across the border like the drugs have for decades? Yes they know but it doesn't fit their narrative. Do they care that confiscation would mean no matter where you and your family were, they would always be in harms way [in a target rich environment] because no one could be there to stop those that mean to harm innocent people? Yes they know but once again it doesn't fit their narrative
I know many of you say you will never give up your guns [from my cold dead hands] but would you really risk dying or going to prison and leaving your family behind? Many of you say you have pre-ban weapons but pre-ban will be a thing of the past when preemptive confiscation becomes the order of the day.
The Civil War that is going on today is not about race [although the MSM wants you to believe it is] but if you happen to be a white, conservative, constitutional, gun-owning male they are coming after you (there is no doubt about that). Imagine though if you were a black conservative, constitutional, gun-owner; they would be coming after you even harder [they would call you vile names like Uncle Tom and names I won't put on here and then they will ostracise you to the point that you are completely isolated from everyone you love and care about]. The MSM doesn't care about those they purport to be standing up for, they only use them as weapons to stifle discussion and create division until violence erupts so they can sit back and say it is your fault.
Don't let them shut down your voice or feel you need to be ashamed of who and what you are.
We, the freedom loving citizens of this nation, need to ban together now to beat back the wolf at the door; the lives of your children and grandchildren depend on it.
The time is now for you to get involved with organizations like the NRA or the GOA and support your local and state candidates that support the Second Amendment.
"I say that the Second Amendment is, in order of importance, the first amendment. It is America's First Freedom, the one right that protects all the others. Among freedom of speech, of the press, of religion, of assembly, of redress of grievances, it is the first among equals. It alone offers the absolute capacity to live without fear. The right to keep and bear arms is the one right that allows 'rights' to exist at all.
Either you believe that, or you don't, and you must decide."
